The W.Lav Pro is the exact same size as industry standard lavaliers on the market but at a fraction of the price. We wanted to make a craftsman level lavalier for the people! We also made the W.Lav Pro IP57 waterproof so that no matter what you’re shooting, you’re covered. The IP57 rating gives it better protection from perspiration and aerosol cosmetics. This makes the W.Lav Pro ideal for outdoor shooting in wet weather. With new digital wireless systems, RF interference is an issue that will affect lavaliers. We added extra shielding inside the cable of the W.Lav Pro to help protect against digitally modulated RF signals that could cause you issues on your next shoot. Despite the lavalier’s cable diameter only being 1.8mm it takes a tension strength of 65 foot-pounds to actually snap the wire. The W.Lav Pro comes in a molded 3.5mm variant but also comes in a microdot version that is compatible with several dozen wireless systems with the use of our microdot adapters.
